Description
Designed by Adele Martelli
Creating a table that wasn’t monolithic and that conveyed a sense of lightness.
Making it of strong presence by perceiving its importance.
Lightness and strength. This is the oxymoron that guided the design of Aria. Aria that can be as delicate as a pleasant spring breeze or impetuous, like a strong wind that brings storms.
And so the top of this table and its legs are one, which was shaped in “free form” as the result of a strong storm, which it managed to resist despite its lightness, thanks to tenacity, presence and strength of his body. The very thick legs merge with the top and, through the irregular geometries of the joints and the use of materials, play in creating an object that lives on similarities or differences.
