Nacre is a low table with a fluid aspect inspired by the organic form of an oyster shell. The base, made up of an oval basin in transparent extralight glass with mirrored bottom, is created by moulding a flat slab of 12 mm. glass through a complex heat treatment and trimming the perimeter to shape. The top, placed on the basin, is in laminated glass 6+6 mm. in extralight mirror finish which fades in a circular way, emphasizing the transparent round area. The top is also available with an opening next to the transparent area, through which you can access the inside of the basin, and use it as flower box, terrarium (planter) or storage/display unit.
