One of Aurelio Zanotta’s greatest abilities was being surrounded by the most significant Italian designers in creating a catalogue of offers that were consistent with his own very personal vision, matching a precise idea of clever and functional objects and an all-Zanotta philosophy.

Thus, many designers provided their sensitivity and taste to transform some of the types of items that Aurelio himself deeply wanted to reinvent. This was what Gae Aulenti did with April, starting from an eternal classic such as the ‘director’s chair’.
