The forms of nature and the processes that occur without man laying hand on them: for example, a river rock split in two with the upper side smoothed out by water and time, whilst the lower side has maintained its curvature.

The slabs of Carrara, Marquinia or Emperador marble are opaque, warm and pleasant to the touch, supported simply on a minimal metal base in black or white.

The designer then intervened on the proportions, emphasising its length, for an occasional table able to complete a lounge area or sitting room.
