Meridiani Open Air surrounded by nature

Meridiani

In the enchanting setting of Villa Erba on Lake Como (Italy), Meridiani took part in Proposte (5–7 May 2026), one of the key international events dedicated to furnishing textiles, contributing with an outdoor installation in the fair’s gardens.

In this context, the Open Air family represented the brand’s continuous research into quality, craftsmanship and textile culture. The setting, designed by art director Andrea Parisio as an elegant outdoor living area surrounded by greenery, featured the modular Vincent Open Air sofa and the Zoe Open Air loveseats, together with the Charlot Open Air poufs (part of the new 2026 collection), and coffee tables with glazed lava stone tops.

What’s more, at the fair entrance, a “maxi” version of the René armchair welcomed visitors with its generous proportions, upholstered in custom Meridiani logo fabric, becoming an immediately recognisable symbol of the brand’s strong identity.

Through textures, patterns and refined materials, Meridiani’s installation created a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere, interpreting outdoor living as a natural extension of the surrounding landscape.
